1. What do you know about this character now that s/he doesn’t yet know?

Mostly just sad things. She’s not aware of the Calling until Jenna starts getting bruises that Selene can’t heal. She doesn’t know that her mentor didn’t drown in a shipwreck, but she carries the guilt of his “death” with her for the rest of her life. She won’t live to be terribly old because she runs off chasing dragons after all the people she loves are dead.

2. What is this character’s greatest flaw?

She is very in-your-face about being a mage, even when she’s supposed to be hiding. She and Anders would probably have lots of conversations about mage freedom, were they ever to meet. She’s very proud of her magic and hates to hide, but does so grudgingly.

3. What do you know about this character that s/he would never admit?

She is terrified of the word love used seriously and of serious relationships. She avoids goopy romantic feelings. Her comfortable platonic affection and trust for her kossith and her physical intimacy with Jenna are the closest she ever gets to relationships.

4. What is this character’s greatest asset?

Her tits. …lolno, but really, she thinks her looks are her greatest asset and uses them to her advantage. And while she’s fairly cute, she’s not as pretty as she thinks she is. Her healing magic and martial skill with her halberd are probably her best assets.

5. If this character could choose a different identity, who would s/he be?

She wouldn’t choose to be anyone but herself. She hates having to hide who she is because of the templars and the Chantry.

6. What music does this character sing to when no one else is around?

The Thedas equivalent of Epica and Sonata Arctica. Also, Selene is tone-deaf.

7. In what or whom does this character have the greatest faith?

She jokingly states that she has faith in the Chantry to fuck everything up and is usually right. As for people, she implicitly trusts Kadriye and Neelam, and over time comes to feel that way about Jenna. She also has enormous faith in Captain Khazimir and in Bryn the healer.

8. What is this character’s favorite movie?

…if Hard in Hightown was ever made into a stage show, she’d watch it as much as she could.
